Supported brokers

Trade with Trust verifies trades from every major US retail brokerage and dozens more internationally. Most brokers connect live over a read-only link; any broker not on the live list is supported through PDF statement upload.

Live read-only connections

The following brokerages support a live, read-only connection. Trades sync automatically as they settle, and open positions can be verified in real time. All connections are established through SnapTrade — a regulated financial-data aggregator — or through the broker's own OAuth flow. Trade with Trust never sees your broker credentials and cannot place trades or move funds.

Statement upload — every other broker

If your broker isn't on the live-connection list, you can still build a fully verified track record by uploading official statement PDFs. Statements are the same documents your broker would send to a regulator or produce in an audit, and our parser reconciles each fill into round-trip trades using first-in-first-out matching. This works for effectively any US broker and most international ones.

Common brokerages traders verify by statement upload include:

  • Merrill Edge
  • Wells Fargo Advisors
  • JP Morgan Self-Directed
  • Ally Invest
  • SoFi Invest
  • Firstrade
  • Questrade
  • Wealthsimple
  • Degiro
  • Trading 212

Don't see yours? If your broker issues monthly or annual statements, it's supported. Send us a sample and we'll confirm.

How the connection works, per broker type

OAuth brokers (Schwab, IBKR, E*TRADE, Tradier, TradeStation, Alpaca)

You are redirected to the broker's own login page, authenticate directly with them, and grant a read-only scope. Trade with Trust receives a scoped token that can read trade history and positions and nothing else. Revoking the grant on the broker's site instantly cuts off our access.

Credential-based brokers via SnapTrade (Robinhood, Webull, Fidelity, Tastytrade, Public)

Where a broker does not offer a public OAuth flow for retail, SnapTrade — a regulated financial-data aggregator used by major fintech apps — establishes the read-only session on your behalf. Credentials are entered into SnapTrade's PCI-compliant interface, never into Trade with Trust. We only ever see a read-only token scoped to trade history and positions.

Statement-upload brokers (Vanguard, Merrill, and any broker without a live integration)

Upload monthly or annual statement PDFs. The parser identifies the broker's format, extracts every transaction row, reconciles fills into round-trip trades, and produces the same verified rows a live connection would. Statements are stored securely and used only for verification; they are never shown publicly.
